Wednesday already?!?
Amazing! It doesn’t feel like I haven’t posted in a week. Wasn’t the Three-fer post just yesterday? Crazy… but here is what’s going on.
One week into intermittent fasting. Having a desk job makes this more difficult than I thought it would be. When you aren’t eating like others it feels like that is all they are doing. The first few days were easier than the last few. My energy level feels all over the place. One day I’ve got more energy than I know what to do with, the next I’m ready for bed by 10am. I’m going to keep going though.
My legs overall feel great since the half marathon, but there are times when I can feel pinpoint discomfort in my shins. I tried running on the treadmill last week, but my shins said nope. I’ll wrap my legs with some KT Tape and try again tomorrow.
My bride and I are going to stock up on running shoes for our year of training for my half marathon and her marathon. That’s still wild to think about!
I forgot to take measurements for yesterday. Life doesn’t always go according to plan. It has its ups and downs. But my weight yesterday was 291.8lbs.
Today, I’m struggling with urge to binge eat. (In case you didn’t know… I’m a binge eater). Not everyday can be great or one for the record books, but it is still ours to put as much effort into it as we can muster. So for those having a down day, I’m right there with you! Don’t give up, don’t give in. No matter your vice.
Remember, we are ordinary people trying to live extraordinary lives.
