I don’t know about you, but I am an emotional eater… especially “comfort food”. Looking back I must have needed a lot of comfort because I ate my chosen comfort food sometimes 4 or 5 days a week! But how do you handle stress and frustration? Were you or are you a comfort eater?

Today I had a situation where I felt slighted and wronged. My heart’s desire was for a peaceful honoring solution, but there was a part of me that wanted to throttle something and the eat a whole pizza and top it off with loaded cheese fries and a two liter of soda. Which gave reason for pausing and some self reflection. The weak spot in my armor had been found and luckily before any damage had been done! So armed with this revealed weakness I am going to moderately workout on my rest day. Nothing major, but just enough to help me move past this desire to emotionally eat.

I know I cannot be the only one to struggle with this so maybe this will help others reflect and spot any weakness in their own lifestyle change arsenal so that they are better equipped and prepared for when life hits them with a curve ball!
