One important thing to do in your pursuit of healthiness is to realize that calories are not bad. It just depends on where these calories come from. 70 calories from a hard boiled egg or banana are going to be WAY better for you than 70 calories from a couple of cookies!
Remember you are not just eating you are fueling your body. Put crappy gas into your car and that is how it will run. Put crappy food in your body and you will run the same way! Thought and planning goes into every choice we make: not planning to eat healthy is essentially planning for failure or negates any work you do in the gym!
