Assisted Pull-ups – AMSAP – to failure
Assisted Dips – 3 sets – to failure
Back Squats – 2 sets X 10 reps
Front Squats – 2 sets X 8 reps
Lunge Squats – 2 sets x 5 reps (each leg)
Kneeling Shoulder Press – 3 sets X 10 Reps
Reverse Pull-up – AMSAP – to Failure with 10 second rest between sets
I am REALLY glad I went to the gym this morning! I started off with assisted pull-ups and was pleasantly surprised! WHY?!? Because this time last month I could not do a pull-up assisted or NOT! That was the fuel and motivation I needed to give it my all this morning. As I wrote about this morning, I did not want to get out of bed, but that was my AWESOME reward. You should have seen the stupid looking grin on my face at the pull up rack! I looked like the cat that ate the canary! I was so proud of myself!
I want to share in the same excitement with you! If you have a story of where you can now do something that you could not before. Maybe you increased your bench press, maybe its running for without stopping, maybe is something as simple as opting for fruit as a snack instead of a candy bar… whatever it is let me know! I am a firm believer in celebrating and rejoicing together!
