Erik’s Fat Boy Motivation: staying motivated for real lasting change is one of the hardest things to do. This morning I woke up not wanting to workout, not pumped up like I usually am. I don’t know if it feels like I have leveled off or still not 100% percent from last week, either way I’m not feeling it today. That doesn’t mean I am crawling back in bed. What that means is the music in my car on the way to the gym will be just a little but louder, I am going to push just a little bit harder, and when I am done I am going to smile just a little bit bigger because I pushed through this defeated attitude I awoke with! You, the reader, are just one of many reasons I don’t quit. So no excuses! No giving up! No defeatist attitudes! Look in the mirror and say aloud, “you are the reason I workout so hard!” Your dissatisfaction with your health is your driving motivator to reach your goal!
