Of course, everyone’s results will differ, but I can confirm that for me, running really does beat away my depression, sometimes for a few hours, sometimes for a few day. Similarly with walking in the woods, but I think that has more to do with just escaping than treating. Still, when I have a bad run (like yesterday’s for example) I have to fight to keep myself from believing it’s because I am no good: no good at running, no good at living. I’ve done very little yoga, but what I have done is I guess much like walking in the woods: a momentary escape.
